Description
Position Summary
- Make repairs and complete preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment up to 4160 volts
- Perform switching operations up to 138 kV
- Maintain old systems as well as installing new systems
- Maintain accurate records of daily work with asset management software.
Key Equipment Responsibilities
- Pumps
- Motors
- Air compressors
- Wells and well pumps
- Drive houses
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems and print reading
- Texas Journeymen License
- Must be able to work with other crafts when needed
- Basic computer skills required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a physical exam
- May be required to perform strenuous work over long periods of time and lift objects up to 100 pounds. Must be physically fit and capable of working in inclement weather.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: based on experience
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the base hourly rate
